Today marks this years’ Time to Talk Day and we at Stephenson Group are proud to say that this is something we wholly support and actively take part in.
Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation and is a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.
One in four of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year and in the UK, men are three times more likely to die by suicide than women. Unfortunately, in the construction industry - a male dominated industry - these men are three times more likely to die by suicide than the national average.
This is why days like this are so important to us and we like to remind everyone, construction industry or not, it is important to talk.
